From here to there...

Born that we are
Die we sure shall
En route to death,
A path so different,
Follow he, you and I shall.
Some reach faster,
Some slower
Some happy and contented,
Some happier still,
Some sad and unsatisfied,
Some sadder still,
Destined we are to the same place,
A joyful ride for some,
A displeased one for others,
Wonder if the path chosen or the traveller
Makes travel all too different

Nice one :)

"Destined we are to the same place,"

Are we? Dont the religions of the world, promise different things for different people ? (Trying a meta-physical angle :))

Well, not that I am an atheist, but to me the only destination is'death'.

Good point there,so weird that different religions promise different things for different people, the mere purpose of a religion and its principles going for a toss.
But if you go by the core virtues religions are intended for,I suppose all convey the same, be good, go to a safe place, and if you
don't there you see hell!! It's how people interpret religion that causes problems, religions in themselves are harmless I suppose
